Copuazu is known as Brazilian cocoa in the Amazon and other jungles of Peru, Colombia, Bolivia, scientifically known as Theobroma grandiflorum, a close relative of Theobroma Cocoa. The fruit is valued for its tropical flavor with the notes of chocolate, banana, pear, passion fruit and pineapple, that’s what monkeys love it for. In the language of the Amazonian indigenous people “copuazu” means “Food of the Gods” – due to the incredible range of useful properties. We found the fruit of this amazing tree in Peru and made chocolate from it. Try it and taste it!

one table spoon (20-30 gr) of chocolate with 0.2 or 0.3 l of hot water, either in a blender or using a hand /held blender.
creamy mixture
heat 100-150 ml of cream 33% fat, add one table spoon of chocolate, stir well or mixed by hand blender
cool
prepare hot chocolate a normal way without milk, let it cool down in the fridge and serve it with ice or ice cream.
