The Cooperative Multifunctional Cacaotera "La Campesina" R.L., Is An Organization Of Producers Of Cocoa, Founded In November 2000.
Its headquarters are located in the municipality of Matiguás, department of Matagalpa. La Campesina serves more than 420 cocoa producers, of which 354 are members. It has community stocking networks in the municipalities of Matiguás and Río Blanco to provide a better service for the collection of wet cocoa.
